The Sassafras 16's kit includes all hull parts computer-cut from BS 1088 okoume marine plywood, all holes pre-drilled and frames and bulkheads located.  Rails are spanish cedar or fijian mahogany.  The seats are ash with real caning and the center thwart is ash.  Complete epoxy and fiberglass kit included, plus hardware.  The spiral-bound 115-page manual is extravagantly detailed, with every step photographed and/or diagrammed, and includes supply lists for builders.  All dimensions throughout the manual are in both metric and standard units.
